From its intersection with Hampshire (Eaton) Road, drive south on Porter Road 1.6 miles. The cemetery is on the right (west) side of the road.
Historical Information: The land for this cemetery was deeded by Ivory Cole 2nd on May 10, 1853 to the following plot owners: Ivory Cole, Bradford Cole, James M. Linscott, Oliver Hurd, Ebenezer S. Cole, George M. Linscott, and Isaac Linscott (Book 35, Page 1). The burying ground had been fenced that spring.
Condition (2023):Â This cemetery is in poor condition and has many fieldstones and unmarked graves. Many of the stones have fallen and are sinking, or have been leaned against the fence. This cemetery is now being mowed twice a year by a professional landscaper hired by the town.
