Historical Information:

The old Simeon Dyer place was across the road from the cemetery, on the south side of the road. The graves are of his parents, James and Ann (Hartford) Dyer. James Dyer was born in 1789 in Hollis, Maine and died in 1869 in Brownfield.  He was a soldier in the War of 1812, 33rd US Infantry. His wife Ann (Hartford) Dyer was born in 1800 in Wells, Maine and died 1/2/1833. She was the daughter of John W. and Hannah (Flye) Hartford.

Condition (4/30/22):

One fieldstone is standing and marked yearly with a flag. Without the flag, many people would not notice this cemetery. This site is being maintained by a professional landscaper employed by the town.
