From its intersection with 113, drive 1 mile west on Farnsworth Road, just past a dam on the left (south). Park at the entrance to a dirt road next to the dam and walk along the west bank about 100 yards to the small cemetery surrounded by granite posts.

Historical Information:

Early settler William Haley and his wife Susannah (Heath) are buried here, along with two of their sons, their wives, and three children. There is also a granddaughter of the inventor Philo Farnsworth (who bought the Haley homestead) buried here. There is a small grave depression at the southern end of the cemetery but no stone. The Brownfield death records state that an unknown Farnsworth died November 11, 1961 in Manhattan, NY and “Removal & burial-Haley Cem”. This was Skee and his first wife Louise (Wolff) Farnsworth’s daughter Ruth, who died at 18 months old.
As a side note, there is a memorial to Rose (Kaplan) Farnsworth, wife of Skee, where her ashes were scattered behind the cabin on the Farnsworth property. Rose died in November of 2007.
