From its intersection with South Hiram Road, drive north 0.9 miles on Durgintown Road to its intersection with Derby Barn Road. Drive 400 feet, park, then walk another 300 feet on the old road. The small cemetery, which is surrounded by a metal pipe fence, is on a hill 250 feet northwest through the woods.

Historical Information: There is only one headstone in this cemetery and it is for Temple Huntress, eldest son of early settlers Robert and Hannah (Wadleigh) Huntress, who died in 1866. There is another grave depression next to Temple, which is most likely for his wife Eunice (Goodwin), who died in 1883. Temple and Eunice had two sons who died in the Civil War: Erastus and Alfred. After Temple’s death, Eunice collected a pension from Erastus’ service.

Condition (11/8/2020): The single obelisk headstone is standing and level. There are many fallen branches in the cemetery.
