From its intersection with Dam Road, drive north on Bickford Pond Road 0.3 miles. The small cemetery is on the left (west) side of the road at the intersection with Jenny Lane/ Brookside Knoll. It is surrounded by granite posts and has a single grave that is decorated with a flag and flowers but no gravestone.
Historical Information: Past historians have speculated that the grave here is for a member of the Thompson family, specifically Alonzo or his son Andrew. However, Alonzo’s death record states he is buried in Merrifield Cemetery and Andrew did not live nearby. It is more likely that this gravesite is for a family who lived close and that the grave is from the mid to late 1800s.
Condition (3/28/20): This cemetery is surrounded by granite posts (no chain between) but is overgrown. The corner granite post has been knocked down by a snowplow. There are no gravestones, just a flag and flowers.
