From its intersection with Durgintown Road, drive northwest on Tripptown Road for one mile. Turn onto Dr. Teg Road and drive 325 feet southwest. The small family cemetery, surrounded by a pipe rail fence, is on a hill 100 feet to the northwest.
Historical Information: This cemetery is near the Eli Wadsworth homestead. Eli was the son of Capt. Charles Lee Wadsworth, who was the son of General Peleg Wadsworth. Eli married Mary (Chaney), daughter of Reuben and Abigail. Mary’s brother, Reuben Chaney, and members of his family are also buried here.
Condition (10/31/2020): This cemetery recently had the large trees cut down that were causing damage to the stones. Some stones are in poor condition and lying on the ground.
