From its intersection with Cold Brook Road/Towle Hill Road walk or drive with a 4WD vehicle 0.3 miles north to a cellar hole on the left (west) side. The small family cemetery is 500 feet northwest of the cellar, down a hill then back up onto a knoll. It is irregularly shaped but partially surrounded by a stone wall. The original gravestones are in poor condition and all on the ground. There is a newer metal plaque listing names and dates for the burials.
Historical Information: This cemetery contains the graves of Ichabod Wilkinson, his wife Nancy (Peavy) Wilkinson, and their daughters Mary and Sarah. Only Ichabod and Sarah have carved gravestones. Nancy and Mary are also included on the metal plaque.
Condition (5/3/20): No gravestones are standing in this cemetery. Ichabod’s marble stone is in multiple eroded pieces and Sarah’s slate headstone and footstone are lying flat. There are some other scattered pieces of blank marble. The saplings are kept cut and recent logging did not disturb the cemetery.
